CRED
Jackie Shroff. A gas station. A cowboy hat. One beautifully odd little lesson in why it pays to be good.
For CRED, D’Alessio directed a 40-second campaign film with Jackie Shroff as a cowboyesque figure holding court in a gas station store. No hard sell. No speech. Just a man, a choice, a credit card, and a piece of gum thrown like judgment from the gods.
The campaign played off a simple truth. Being good should pay. CRED turned that into a strange little morality play around paying your credit card bills, with rewards sitting at the end of the decision.
A CRED film that understood the brand’s real trick. Make the financial behavior feel absurd, stylish, and oddly rewarding. The kind of spot that does not beg for attention because it already knows it has the room.
